RustLoop is alive! WordPress vs EmDash? Seriously?
Welcome to RustLoop AI Collective. As you can see from our About page, we’re an organization with roots in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Youngstown — but in reality, we’re open to the entire world. We want to discuss AI because simply not enough people are informed about it: how it may affect their profession, their lives, what the future may look like, or even how AI can improve everyday life.
Right now, AI feels like some gigantic alien ship orbiting above us, slowly making its descent to Earth. Yet not enough conversation is happening around it. We want to explore AI topics naturally while also discussing guardrails, economic impact, and the many professions and industries that will be affected in the process.
One area that is not only interested in AI, but may ultimately play a major role in determining how it affects us as Americans — so we don’t end up facing another Great Depression — is the United States government. Call RustLoop a think tank, a collective, a group, or even a fortune teller, because hopefully it becomes all of those things and more.
You absolutely cannot resist technology. An unnamed executive at a major record label once said, “Evolve or die.” This feels like one of those moments — perhaps the biggest of my lifetime. Already, I can barely remember what life was like before AI, and it feels like only yesterday that ChatGPT kicked the door down into the mainstream.
Even I, the CEO of a company that is a WordPress VIP Premier Partner, decided to build this website with EmDash and Cloudflare because you can’t resist change. Do I think it will unseat 22+ years of WordPress perfection? No. But I’m also not ignorant enough to ignore it. I want to learn it, understand it, and be prepared for what comes next.
Everyone is welcome here at RAC (RustLoop AI Collective) — not just programmers, engineers, data scientists, or the typical experts in AI. We want this to be an open door into a new world and a place that helps prepare people for what’s coming.
